Puppy Love

I was intrigued by Emma's Challenge at My Creative Time, which is to use a retired Cricut cartridge.  Well, I wasn't quite sure if I had any retired cartridges, but after checking the link she provided, I found I had 4 of them.  One was Paper Pups which came with my Expression Bundle, and I love it.  Such cute images.

And I included a bug which also allows me to enter this in Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.  This week's challenge is to make a project with a bug on it.  I glittered the wings on my bug!  Cut the pups at 4" with outline.  Used Spots cuttlebug folder on their bodies.  This is a 5x7 card with blue sky paper and green grass punched with a Fiskars punch.  The dragonfly comes from Doodlecharms cart cut at 1". Used a Fiskars border stamp to trim it out.  On the inside, I used the words shown with this image, cut at 1-1/4" with shadow.  Isn't this card adorable?!

I'm also going to link this to Had Me at Craft Linky Party if there's still time.  Thanks for stopping by!  Come again soon. -- Pat

  1. This makes me want to cry. I missed out on getting Paper Pups and I have wanted to kick myself a thousand times over because of it. (I did find it online somewhere but they were asking an astronomical amount, slap the word "retired" on it and it instantly becomes worth 5x as much.) Anyway...I super love this card.
