Boo to You!

Hi Everyone!

Long time, no see!  I finally made a card.  Go me!
Here's my Halloween themed card.  I made this using the Cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge, which I recently purchased.  An oldie but a goodie, I suppose.  Think the images on it are quite fun.

The mummy, cat, grass, and tombstone are all cut from this cartridge.  The web border is a Fiskars punch called Webs We Weave, and the stamp is from Joann's dollar bins.

Would like to enter the following challenges with my card:

Little Scrap Pieces - Halloween
More Than Favors - Halloween
Party Time Tuesdays - Trick or Treat (Halloween)
Crafty Creations Challenges - Halloween Spooks

If you're on the East Coast and are experiencing the effects of Hurricane Sandy, please stay safe.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fall Colors

Here's a card I made back in August but never posted. This was made for a woman at work to give to a very close friend that was getting married.  Beautiful poem she chose to put on the front, which I typed and printed onto cardstock.  The frame is MS Punch around the Page Doily Lace.  Embossed the  background layer with Divine Swirls.  The flowers are from Michael's dollar bins, and the green swirls are a Sizzix die cut.

I do love the colors, and they remind me of fall. Fall is my favorite season. When you start seeing the gold, orange, and greens of the leaves changing, it's so pretty.  It hasn't quite gotten to that stage yet here in Maryland.  I see some single trees here and there turning orange, so it's coming soon!

Thought I'd enter my card into some challenges:

Die Cuttin' Divas - fall colors -- Hi Ladies!  :)
Papercraft Stars - fall colors
Docerela Creations - photo inspiration, fall colors
Little Scrap Pieces - Thanksgiving or fall colors
The Pink Elephant - photo inspiration challenge

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Customized Baby Card

Hi Everyone!

Here's a baby card I made that's customized with the birth statistics and other family information.  I've got these down pretty good now, especially since I've documented them in the past.  It was so much easier to go back to a previous post and see the exact size of the cuts I used in the past.

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by--I appreciate it!
