Birthday Card for a Challenge
I made this card for a friend's son who is turning 18. I think I'm happy with the way it turned out. What do you think?
I'm also entering this card into the Wacky Wednesday #31, Manly Challenge which is to make a card or anything for a GUY. I think this is certainly manly enough. I cut the numbers and shadows from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, and the sentiment from Wild Card. "You Rock" is an Inkadinkadoo stamp; 9 in the set of Rock Star. Edged that with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress Ink. The zigzag stitching is a DCWV rub-on. I love those! The patterned papers are from DCWV Natural Mat Stack and the cardstock is from my stash. Looks great Pat! Perfect for a guy! They're always the hardest to make for...and I love that zig zag rub on! Very cool! It looks like it's really sewn on :)
