Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Hello!

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge!
This week is a sketch challenge.

Here's the card I made--it's an anniversary card for my husband!  But, shhhh, don't tell him.
Today is our 15th wedding anniversary!

Here's the sketch:

My card is made using a 5x6.5" pre-scored white card.
Covered the front with green cardstock from The Paper Company Cypress paper pack.
Patterned paper is K&Co. Classic K double-sided papers.
The pears are cut from "Just Because" Cards cartridge on Heidi Grace paper.
Edges are inked with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress ink.
Sentiment is a Studio G dollar stamp.
Inside, I printed a Happy Anniversary sentiment to my DH on my computer.

Our sponsor this week is Pattie's Creations Digital Images.
She'll provide three images to the winner.

You'll also see some of her images used by our Diva Designers this week, so be sure to check out everyone's post!

Here's another view of my card; you can see that I popped up the pears and finished off the inside, too, with the K&Co. designer paper.

Hope you'll play along with us this week and create a card, layout, or altered project using the sketch design above.  Be sure to use a die cut in your creation and link your post back to the Die Cuttin' Divas challenge blog.  We look forward to seeing what you create!!

Thanks for stopping by!

I'd like to enter this card in a challenge Jovan is having.
She's celebrating her 3-year blogaversary and her challenge is to enter a card that has a celebration theme--anything you want to celebrate, and I certainly plan to celebrate my anniversary!  Challenge ends July 17, so visit Cards by Jovan and celebrate her blogaversary.

  1. Great card! I love the colors and the pattern papers you chose. I also like how you finished off the inside of the card - something I should try to do more often! :) TFS!

  14. Just a quick note...that dog sentiment was computer generated. I did find it on-line, but didn't have time to buy the wooden stamp.
