A personal note to all my blogger buddies. I've really been out of the loop lately, being busy at work and tired at night. So as you've seen (or actually, haven't seen), my creations have been few and far between. I need to get my mojo back and get those creative juices flowing again. Visiting your blogs certainly helps, and I tried to make some visits today. Seeing all the fall crafts is wonderful since fall is my favorite time of year, and I'm really wanting to make something soon!
But I must share with you that this weekend, I was busy for really good reasons! You see, my birthday was on Friday--that's why I must love Fall so much, I'm a Fall baby--and I have had one wonderful weekend! On Friday, my husband took me to Atlantic City where we saw a concert that evening at the House of Blues called "Get the Led Out." If you ever liked Led Zeppelin in years past, then you'd love this band. They play all Zeppelin songs and they were fantastic! Has anyone ever seen them?
Of course, we tried our hand at a few slot machines and poker machines--no big losses, and it was lots of fun!! Came home on Saturday. On Sunday, I had another birthday celebration with my daughter here. My "baby" will be 23 next weekend, just 9 days after my birthday. We enjoyed an "end of summer" feast with Maryland steamed crabs, crab soup, and corn on the cob. Yum...delicious!! So it was definitely a terrific birthday weekend for me.
Now...hopefully...I can make a card or two, and get back into the swing of things. I want to thank everyone that visits my blog and leaves me comments. They're very much appreciated and so uplifting.
Oh, I must tell you of the crafty goodies I received from my husband and daughter. They know what a fanatic I have become about scrapping! Among other terrific gifts from my daughter, she also gave me a gift card to Joann's so I could pick out what I wanted! (so sweet of her since she's on a tight budget). And my dear hubby got me the Groovy Times cart, several Cuttlebug embossing folders, a mini-sewing machine(!), and the CTMH Art Philosophy cart and package! Lucky me, huh?!!
Thanks to all of you for listening, for sticking with me, and for stopping by to say hi! Here's a card I made a while ago and never posted, and it's for ALL OF YOU!!
So nice to see you posting again! And wow! Happy Birthday! I am sending sweet Birthday wishes your way! It sounds like you had a great birthday weekend!
