I read at My Pink Stamper's blog where a nurse from the Wisconsin Plastic and Reconstruction Medical department is sponsoring a breakfast for 1500 cancer survivors. She asked for Robyn's followers to make a card so that every attendee could have a card placed at her seat. The breakfast is September 28, and a mailing address is provided in Robyn's post. Robyn was also giving away her Hope & Courage stamp set if you wanted to post your card, but it seems I missed that deadline! That's okay; I'm still going to send my card in and maybe make a few more because this is such an important cause. Here's what I made...
I cut 4 silhouette images from the Forever Young cart at 2", put them on white cardstock punched with an oval punch and embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots. The pink heart border mat is from Elegant Edges, oblong, with a darker pink color underneath. For these 2 mats, I used Post-It Craft Paper, cut, peel and stick. Scalloped circle made with an EK Success punch, and another circle punch for the center. Both sentiments typed on my computer. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by!
Very pretty card! I'm sure the person receiving this card will smile when they see it! WTG!

ReplyDeleteI found the liquid pearls at Micheal's! They are $6.99 for 3 bottles. (They look like the Stickles Bottles) I used my 40% off coupons and bought all three packs! I LOVE them, seriously I am addicted!
