Are you ready for some candy?

Gosh, I haven't posted since Tuesday, but it seems like forever!  I haven't had time to make anything either due to taking care of everyday matters.  So it's time to announce that I will have a give-away when I reach 100 followers!  I'm just about half way there, but could use your help in spreading the word.  I want to thank all of you that follow my blog currently--many of you have been here since I started!  You're all great and I appreciate your regular visits and comments; I feel I'm really getting to know you (and you know who you are).  This has been a real fun experience so far, and isn't that what it's all about?!  SO... I've got some great blog candy (at least I think so), which includes the "From My Kitchen" Cricut cartridge!!  I'm also throwing in some "with love" rub-on transfers, a chipboard book, expoxy stickers, notecards, and some bling.

To be included in the drawing, do the following:
  • Leave a comment on this post and tell me what you do with all the cards you make!  Do you tend to use them pretty quickly, or do you have a tremendous stash on hand?
  • If you're not already following me, become a follower of my blog
When I get to 100 followers, or as close to that moment as I can possibly get,  I will choose a winner from all my followers and commenters to this post.  So check back often for the announcement of a winner!  Thanks again for visiting my blog, and I look forward to meeting some new friends!

  1. OOOh I dont have that cartridge and would love to win it :)
My kids just asked me the other day what I planned on doing with all the cards I make...I told them I plan on saving some and giving others away. The thing is I always end up making another card instead of using one I have on hand...funny how thats works.
Well I love your blog and am so excited for you and this challenge so good luck on hitting 100!!

  2. Hi Pat:
Thanks for the opportunity to win. Whenever I make a card, I try to make a couple extra. That way, I have one to send out right away and a few extras for the next time the situation comes up (Get well, Congrats, Thinking of you, etc.)

Good Luck on getting up to 100! I'm sure it will happen before we know it! :)

  3. Hello Pat!!

    What a giveaway here! *drool*

I just started making cards. I've used some right away and I have some of my favorites on display. I think I'm going to do a little bit of both, but I was thinking I might need to buy a little filing box to keep track of them all. :)

Can't wait to see you reach 100 followers!!

  4. The "followers" tab isn't working again, so I can't see how close you are to 100, but good luck. With a great giveaway like this you'll pass that mark easily.
As for what I do w/ my cards, I try to send as many out as I can, as soon as I can, but still end up with a pretty big stash.

  33. Weeeelll...I am working on selling cards right now. I started making cards in 2009 and my mother ordered Christmas cards and then ordered Thank You cards from me. This past year (2010) I had orders from my mother and grandmother for christmas cards. Now I have "all occasion" cards orders for my grandmother and aunt. So I sell some and I also make some to give away. I love it!

I guess I need to start sending them because I'm starting to get a stash lined up but sometimes it's hard to give them away after I love them so much lol.

  83. Pat, what lovely candy you have up for grabs. I have become a follower and have added you to my list on my blog of blogs to watch. Well I make all my cards to sell solely to raise funds for different charities even with my commissioned cards. I do have a small stash that I use for my monthly charity stall but never seem to have as many as I'd like but hey ho that's life. I've also made 25 cards thus far for the Card for Life campaign in the UK for Cancer Research UK. Last year I made 100 cards. Not sure how many I'll manage to make this year but I will give a good hard push. I'd love to be in with a chance of winning your candy as I would put it to good use. Best wishes, Kym xxx

  94. I am a followerer (supermum)

I make my cards for friends and family, i have tried selling my cards but there is too much competition out there. Cardmaking regardless keeps me sane after a stressful day with the kiddies.

  96. HI! I just found your blog..congratulations on reaching your goal! I mostly make cards as I need them - I take pictures of them so I can reference back to them to make sure I don't repeat the same card twice! I'm looking forward to following you!
