Fall Colors

Here's a card I made back in August but never posted. This was made for a woman at work to give to a very close friend that was getting married.  Beautiful poem she chose to put on the front, which I typed and printed onto cardstock.  The frame is MS Punch around the Page Doily Lace.  Embossed the  background layer with Divine Swirls.  The flowers are from Michael's dollar bins, and the green swirls are a Sizzix die cut.

I do love the colors, and they remind me of fall. Fall is my favorite season. When you start seeing the gold, orange, and greens of the leaves changing, it's so pretty.  It hasn't quite gotten to that stage yet here in Maryland.  I see some single trees here and there turning orange, so it's coming soon!

Thought I'd enter my card into some challenges:

Die Cuttin' Divas - fall colors -- Hi Ladies!  :)
Papercraft Stars - fall colors
Docerela Creations - photo inspiration, fall colors
Little Scrap Pieces - Thanksgiving or fall colors
The Pink Elephant - photo inspiration challenge

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  13. Hey Pat!! I love this, the colors are great!! Did you print the poem from Microsoft Word? I have written poems for both of my parents, for both of their retirements, and I want to print them to fit into this frame that I bought, so that they would be on both sides, and then their is a space in the middle where I would put a picture of them, but I am having trouble getting them the right size, and still being able to read them. Any advice?? karen♥
