How I made this card:

A2 size pre-scored card

Yellow cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls

Flowers cut at 3-1/2" from Kate's ABCs several times in pink, blue, yellow, and green cardstock to get the pieces I wanted.

Inked all the edges

Birthday Card on Easter

I made this birthday card for a lovely lady whose birthday happened to be on Easter this year, hence, the use of a bunny.

Easter Card for My Daughter

Here's an Easter card I made for my daughter.

This is a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" card.  I papered the front with patterned paper from my stash.  I think this sheet was bought singly from Joann's last year.  The egg was cut from Art Philosophy at 4-1/2", embossed with Cuttlebug Victoria folder, and inked.  The little girl is cut from A Child's Year at 4" w/shadow.

My daughter is 23 now, but this reminds me of years past when she would hunt for Easter eggs with her cousins.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone, and thanks for dropping by!

This week's challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is a sketch challenge. 

I love the idea of putting different patterns together to form a "patchwork quilt-look" and I was able to make good use of my scraps that I've been saving now for months.  When I get down to real small pieces of cardstock and patterned paper, I cut them into 1" squares.  So I made a small card,
3-1/4" square.  I thought it would make a cute little note card.

With the bright and pretty spring colors of my patterned papers, I just couldn't resist adding a "springy" image to this card.  Here it is!  Just clean and simple--but cute, don't you think?! 

The bunny is cut from Doodlecharms, and stamped with a PK face!

Then I was inspired to make another small card.  On this one, I added a chick, cut from Simply Charmed!

It was really fun creating the patchwork backgrounds, so I made a few more small note cards that I can add an image to at any time, as I use them.  What do you think?
