A Quick Note

I wanted to send a note to a friend so I put together this quick card. That's the MS Eyelet Lace punch--the border part of one of her punch around the page sets.  Love the intricate cut.

Question to my blogging friends:  

Has anyone experienced problems with Blogger?  

Is anyone using Google Chrome?  

I could no longer post on my blog using Internet Explorer.  I was still on the old Blogger interface.  When I clicked to try the new Blogger interface, the message I received said, "your browser is no longer supported by Blogger, some parts of Blogger will not work and you may experience problems.  If you are having problems, try Google Chrome."

I'm not one to jump into anything, so after checking with some IT guys, I did load Google Chrome last night. This is my first post using using the new Blogger interface and Chrome.  So far, so good.  But I'd love to know if anyone else has experienced similar problems.

I have not made Google Chrome my default browser yet.  I'm going to try using that only for my blog at this point and see how it goes.  It's definitely different--of course, that could be the new Blogger interface which I  am not used to yet either!

Birthday Cake Card!

Here's a cute card I made for a friend at work. 

(Well, at least I think it's cute!)

Used Sweet Treats Cartridge to make this shape card, which is cut at 5" with layers.  The patterned paper is Martha Stewart (isn't it pretty?!).  Added some gems and sentiment to the inside, and voila--happy birthday!

For me, summertime means crabs, corn, and watermelon.  In Maryland, steamed crabs are layered with Old Bay seasoning made by McCormick Spice Company right here in my home state!  Top that off with some buttered corn on the cob and sweet watermelon, and that's a summertime feast'!!

I made a scrapbook layout for this challenge--woohoo!

Card for the Teacup

Thanks to everyone who visited and commented on my teacup.  Much appreciated! (if you haven't seen it, scroll down to yesterday's post.

The teacup was a birthday gift for a friend at work.  I also made this card to go with it.

The teapot is from Birthday Cakes, cut with shadow.  The sentiment is computer generated and punched with Fiskars punches.
